Dylan

Dylan

We loved having sweet Dylan, his grandparents, and his favorite blue lizard Dylan Jr. in the office. Pedaling for Kids was thrilled to be able to provide Dylan, now 6 years old, with an iPad. Dylan was born with agenesis of the corpus callosum which essentially means the bridge between the right and left sides of his brain did not form. His fine motor skills being affected and his vision being very poor are only two of many issues Dylan has had to deal with. He also required surgery in 2011 to remove a brain tumor. In consultation with Susan Elder, we were also able to obtain iPad applications to not only facilitate his learning but to also help him coordinate motor skills with both hands. His grandmother keeps us posted on his progress and he is making great strides in his learning and functioning!
